Saved from demolition by Erewash Canal Preservation & Development Association who have repurposed what was originally a sewage Pumping Station to back pump water from below the Langley Bridge Lock to stabilise water levels in the Boat Yard Basin above the lock.
Open Days every third Sunday of the month, Bank Holidays and Christmas. Also regularly hosts education sessions for local school children.
